Why To Root The Htc Explorer?

Even though the phone bags only a 600 mhz Processor , Its 512mb RAM makes it a beast of a phone!
It can play almost every game made for HVGA devices, But Still a few good ones are left out sadly!
Secondly It runs the 2.3.5 gingerbread, And Htc isn't officially releasing updates for it!
And thirdly its low internal memory! :( 

Rooting Can solve all these!

How to Root The Htc Explorer?

 Here's how to do it step by step! -

1. Firstly download HTC Sync! 

 Download HTC Sync via the link below or via the official HTC website ! By selecting HTC Explorer as device and then go to software and support & download it!

2. Unlock the bootloader !

    Unlock the bootloader via step by step instruction on the link below! 

      " http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader "  Select "all other devices" as Htc explorer wouldn't be listed!

3. Add a Recovery!

    

After unlocking bootloader it will then allow you to install .zip files.You can access to it in the menu.Android phones have when booting the phone after removing-inserting the battery and pressing "volume down" and "power" buttons simultaneously.

• - Now Download A310e Recovery from " http://goo.gl/3bZim " !
• - Then Extract it in any drive on your computer!
• - Now you will have to run the recovery.bat with phone in fastboot mode ,which is the first option in the "3 android menu" and connected your htc explorer with computer through usb cable

4. ROOT The device !

  - After following the above steps now download the SuperUser file from " http://goo.gl/Qeln2 " and place it somewhere in the your micro SD card.

• - Now go into Recovery mode by pressing "volume down" + "power button".
• - After accessing the recovery mode install Superuser.zip with the option "install .zip from sd" from the recovery menu.
